Yeshaya Steiner, the Kerestir Rebbe, was known to come here occasionally to offer prayers and request blessings at the tomb of his revered mentor, Hershel Lisker. The guidance of his teacher was instrumental in enabling the Kerestir Rebbe's community to cling to their traditions and persevere in their faith when it was most needed. During this sacred moment, the man's resonant words create a deep connection across time, with the prayer carrying the community's most profound hopes and aspirations into the past, present, and future.
